The person that we are on the outside doesn't always portray who we are on the inside. Where some may look small and helpless, they may be a powerful ally, or enemy. it can also work the other way around.

This piece is again my OC (Original Character). The man who is a machine, powered by that of his once human soul that was scientifically altered into an energy that never fades. Now people may argue this, but I feel the soul never dies therefore it's energy is never ending.
Now when this being was given a new body, there was no regards to who he was before. It was all to create something more powerful, whether or not he wanted it. However, this power came with a price. The machine itself also contained an unknown virus. A virus that, when given the opportunity to act for itself, does what a virus knows how to do and that is to take over, to destroy and to corrupt.
This picture depicts the meeting of these two opposites who co-exist within each other.

Edit: Forgot to mention that this was the song I listened to for most of the time I was working on this picture. [link]
Ohh, I really like this one. Mainly the idea and your lines "The person that we are on the outside doesn't always portray who we are on the inside", that is so true.
The way I see the image is, the right half is the human itself and the left... his soul, his inner himself. Displaying something different.
You portrayed it very well, the bright light coming from it gives us somewhat taste of something non-real, what exists here but it's just in our thoughts. The surrounding around the man looks to me as it is right now taking place in his mind, and nowhere else. That's how I see it.
just think you coul've worked harder on the exture of the shirt
keep it up
